Paula Deen Chocolate Pie. Pat waxed paper onto the surface of the filling to prevent a crust from forming. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and melted butter.
Cover bottom of pie crust with pecans. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cook over low heat, and stir in the butter and vanilla.
Remove from heat once melted and well combined.
When cool, pour the filling into the pie crust.
With mixer on low speed, gradually add confectioners' sugar, beating until combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, until mixture comes to a boil. Cook over low heat, and stir in the butter and vanilla.
